What is LocalCall?
LocalCall offers a mobile application, where you can buy and add international landline phone numbers through which users can make and receive cheap international calls, avoiding all connection and roaming charges. which you incur from using the GSM number assigned to the sim card. Call home to your relatives abroad using a local landline number in there town.
Which dialer do I download?
To be able to use LocalCall on your smartphone you need to download the dialler corresponding to your mobile phone operating system example g: IPhone, Android.
How do I sign up?
Click on one of the many sign up buttons throughout the website and fill in the required details. To sign up requires basic user info . Once signed up you will receive an email to the address provided with your chosen username and password.
How do I login to my account?
Click on LOGIN and enter your username and password.
How do I add credit?
In the online shop you have the option to click RECHARGE. By entering your username and password you will login to your account and allowed to enter payment details such as credit card number or voucher code.
How do I add new number?
When you sign up you are given a choice to choose a package buy a phone number, additional numbers can be added from your account by clicking “add new number”. From the drop down list you may now add new numbers with the price of each listed beside the number.
How do I start Calling?
Once you have an account with credit A) simply open the dialler in your phone you will now see your balance, you choose a contact to call or enter a phone number, the call cost and duration will appear as soon as the call is connected. B) on the mobile phone simply dial a number or choose a contact and hit call, a choice box will appear where you can choose to either make call through your regular operator or through your LocalCall account. Important! When calling you always have to dial in the International format eg: (+)34902848444 so including the country code and without the leading zero.
What payment method is used>
Payment can be made through Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or cash purchase of vouchers at local distributors. Minimum credit is 5 euros. Maximum is 20 euros
Can I get an invoice?
Members can download an electronic invoice from their account at any given time period.
Are there refunds and what do I do?
Yes there are refunds. You will need to contact us in case of any refunds. We will refund only in instance where credit has not been used and up to a maximum of 15 days.
Is it safe to make online payment to LocalCall?
Yes it is very safe. We have up to date SSL certificates that use high encryption for your personal information. Any credit card purchases are done through the bank's merchant account.
Does LocalCall store my credit card details?
LocalCall only stores credit card details if the member chooses this option to allow for auto-top up and monthly charge.
Which currencies does LocalCall support?
For payment of credit we accept Euro only.
What is auto-top up?
Auto top up means we automatically top up your account a given amount when the balance hits 1 euro.
Why am i being asked "Verify by Visa"
This is for security reasons to verify that the purchase is being made by cardholder.
How do i edit my billing address?
In your account you can edit your personal details.
